Lean Planning
Transformation Maps
“Knowing where your going is all you need to get there”
The Lean Business Coach works with your staff to develop a Transformation Map that reflects organizational Strategic Objectives and guides the structure of Tactical Implementation Plans.
The Transformation Map is typically five years in duration and allow your organization to chart out an overall direction for your lean journey. A Transformation Map outlines a chartered course of evolution of your organization from a People, Philosophy, Process and Problem Solving standpoint. They act as a continuous reference guide to your ongoing maturity as a lean organization and are a valuable tool in defining your organizational Lean activities that can be revised and updated on an annual basis.
Hoshin Plans
“Knowledge Transfer is the essence of Hoshin”
Hoshin Kanri is often referred to as Policy Deployment or alignment of measurement systems. Although Hoshin can encompass these conceptually, Hoshin is much, much more.
Hoshin is the consistent pursuit of knowledge transfer between employees in the struggle to create a Lean environment. This knowledge transfer takes the form of coaching and mentoring by more senior employees. Not more senior in position, rather more senior in their understanding of the people, philosophy, process and problem solving approaches of true lean organizations.
The Lean Business Coach strives to create a true Hoshin atmosphere in your organization where Knowledge transfer is a daily common practice.
